Chainsaw Man is a dark fantasy manga and anime created by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It follows a poor teenage boy named Denji, who is struggling to repay his dead father’s massive debt to the yakuza while living in extreme poverty. His only companion is a small chainsaw-dog devil named Pochita, who has a chainsaw for a head.
After being betrayed and killed by the yakuza, Denji makes a contract with Pochita, who fuses with him and revives him as Chainsaw Man—a hybrid who can transform parts of his body into chainsaws. Denji is then recruited by the government as a Devil Hunter, working for Public Safety to fight dangerous devils that threaten humanity.
